The Herkimer College Torchbearer Awards recognize individuals who have made a lasting impact on Herkimer College and its community. Presented every five years by the Herkimer College Board of Trustees, these awards honor faculty and staff whose dedication, passion, and service have enriched the College. The 2024 Torchbearer Awards celebrated four distinguished educators—Dr. Faye Eichholzer, Dr. Anne Greco, Raymond Lenarcic, and William Pelz—for their extraordinary contributions. From pioneering online education and creating support programs for adult learners to advocating for veterans’ rights and fostering creativity, each honoree embodies the values of Herkimer College.
