Work Upstate

Where the jobs are real, the employers are named, and the commute is under 20 minutes.

Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley are in the middle of the largest wave of employer investment this region has seen in decades. A $2.5 billion semiconductor fab. A brand-new $481 million regional hospital. A $1.2 billion agribusiness expansion. A cybersecurity and unmanned systems corridor at Griffiss. These are not announcements — they are operating facilities with open roles, and the people who fill them live in a county where the median home costs $189,000 and the average commute is under 20 minutes.

If you are a process engineer, a clinical nurse, a healthcare administrator, a cybersecurity analyst, a CNC machinist, a medical resident, or a remote worker who has done the math on what your salary buys in a different zip code — this page is for you.
