- Fort Stanwix National Monument: Starting at 9 a.m., this historical site has multiple events planned throughout the day. The Rome Rotary Club and Rome Historical Society will hold an Independence Day Observance at 9:30 a.m. at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers of the American Revolution on James and Liberty Streets.
